Fake Pregnant Men Calendar

Tattooed Librarians Calendar

Tattooed Librarians Calendar
The Tattooed Librarians of the Ocean State 2014 calendar, produced by theRhode Island Library Association, shows a different, more risqué side of the keepers of the Dewey Decimal system. These inked up chicks are not your parents' librarians. You won't find any long skirt, frumpy blouse-wearing old ladies with hair pulled up in a bun as tight as a softball here.

The new calendar features ten women and two men who love books, tattoos, and aren't afraid to show you their tatted up skin.

The twelve librarians and library workers featured in this calendar represent just a few of the many working professionals who are proud of their career, their ink, and the stories that they tell.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the library association. (Source)

Zlata the Russian Contortionist Calendar

Zlata the Russian Contortionist Calendar
Why not surprise someone this New Year with a more offbeat calendar for 2014 featuring the world's bendiest woman. Russian-born Zlata can contort herself into the most extreme poses imaginable and has posed for 12 wonderfully weird shots for each month of the year.

The former gymnast, who is 5ft 8in, makes every shot an opportunity to show off her suppleness. The 27-year-old, whose real name is Julia Guenthel, has been contorting her body since she was four years old.(Source 1 | Source 2)

Hot Roman Priests Calendar

Hot Roman Priests Calendar
It is officially called the Calendario Romano, or Roman Calendar. But on the streets of Rome, the annual line-up of strapping young men of the cloth is better known as the "hot priest calendar."

From Venice-based photographer Piero Pazzi comes this project that features pictures of actual Roman Catholic priests. Most of the images were reportedly captured during Holy Week.

He met most of featured priests on the streets of Rome and asked to take their photos. Though the priests did not provide the photographer with their names, most were happy to be photographed after they were told the reason for the calendar. According to the photographer, the portraits are purely intended to promote the Eternal City and inform visitors about the Vatican. (Source 1 | Source 2)

Standard Hotels Calendar (with Guest's Complaints)

Standard Hotels Calendar (with Guest's Complaints)
The Standard Hotels, which reach from Downtown LA and Hollywood across the country to Miami and New York, are known for turning things upside down. The hip boutique chain has made its mark as a relevant culture and lifestyle brand and leaves no stone unturned, including calendars.

Their 2014 calendar is a visual interpretation of the most memorable guest letters, requests, and comments that the hotel received in the past year. Whether they're calling the staff "the nicest pooch-lovers in the whole world," demanding compensation because the hot tub melted the prescription off their glasses, or asking, “I lost my kush. Where's my kush?" the Standard Hotel guests entertain with every turn of the page.

From all of the bizarre things that they had received throughout the year, they narrowed it down to 12 that were reenacted by the hotels' staff. The calendar was photographed by French multimedia artist Thomas Mailaender. (Source)

Red Telephone Box Calendar

Red Telephone Box Calendar
This calendar could well belong in a list about the worst Christmas gifts, since absolutely no one bought it. The 2014 Fast Disappearing Red Telephone Boxes of Wales calendar shows, well, the same box, just in different towns and villages.

This "nerdy" calendar showing a collection of red phone boxes has failed to sell a single copy.

Also, the publishers of the 2014 Fast Disappearing Red Telephone Boxes of Wales calendar have admitted that they might have misjudged their target market. The glossy book has been on sale since September but has proven to be a failure from day one.

Creator Kevin Beresford, who was behind last year's hit calendarRoundabouts of Great Britain, wanted to capture a unique slice of Britain. However, he misjudged it this time. (Source)

NYC Cab Drivers Calendar

 NYC Cab Drivers Calendar
Calendars that benefit charitable causes usually feature cute animals or sexy guys and gals posed for maximum sales potential, but a calendar starring New York City cab drivers has to be a first.

This wacky NYC Taxi Drivers 2014 Calendar was created for University Settlement, an organization that helps immigrant families fund higher education, housing, and literacy programs, and with such a good cause behind them there's no need for all the beefcake and fluffy puppy shots. In fact, now that these NYC cabbies have shown the world their softer side both the fares and the charitable donations are sure to come rolling in.(Source)

Drinkable Tea Calendar

Drinkable Tea Calendar
Don't buy this calendar, unless you are willing to drink 365 cups of tea. To keep up, you'll have to drink at least one cup a day. The calendar, designed by the German ad agency Kolle Rebbe for the tea company Halssen & Lyon, has one shingle of dried, compressed tea for EACH day. (Source)
