KUALA LUMPUR: Furious that her husband wanted to divorce her, a Myanmar woman attempted to slice off his penis at the latter’s house in Taman Wilayah, Selayang, here yesterday morning.
In the 11am incident, the 40-year-old woman who was living separately had gone to the house of her husband, also a Myanmar, to discuss the matter.
Sentul police chief, ACP R. Munusamy said after the husband let her in, he lay down in the living room and when was sound asleep, she suddenly went after his penis with a knife.
“The victim, also 40 years, felt pain in his private parts and was shocked to see blood oozing from there.
“Seeing his wife holding a knife, he quickly ran out of the house. Neighbours rushed him to the hospital where doctors managed to “repair the damage“,” he told reporters here today.
Munusamy said the man was in stable condition and that police had launched a manhunt for the wife.
