BY SALINA ON JUNE 14, 2011

Cement poisoning depends upon whether the patient is working with cement dust, or working with setting the cement. Those working near cement dust develop respiratory trouble because of inhaling the dust. Long standing exposure to cement dust could trigger COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
The other type of cement poisoning that could occur is because of skin exposure to cement. This could cause allergic dermatitis to occur. This is basically a skin reaction to continuous exposure to an irritant like cement. This could cause an eczema, which is an irritated patch of skin that is discolored, itchy, and flaking dead skin.
This patch of skin could also be inflamed.
Depending on the symptoms the person develops, there are a host of natural remedies to manage cement poising. Herbal remedies and food prescriptions can help manage respiratory trouble and reduce symptoms such as: wheezing, cough, throat irritation and chest pain.
To tackle skin disorders linked to cement poisoning, one needs to stay away from cement and protect and heal the skin.
